DominicFord Tweaks Hardcore 3D Content

NEW YORK CITY — Pro/am website DominicFord.com has devised an optical trick to ease consumers into the idea of viewing its all-male hardcore content in 3D.

The optical trick involves staring at two identical images until the photos merge, creating a perceived three-dimensional effect. The simple illusion also can work with moving images, and the site has re-released its recent Blu Kennedy-Antton Harri duo as an illustration.

"The results are amazing," company principal Dominic Ford said. "The 3D film has exactly the same color as the original, making an extremely realistic image."

Customers had asked for hardcore content without having to rely on the traditional red-and-blue glasses. "We have been experimenting with it, and are eager to see what our users think," Ford said. "Most importantly, this is a way for visitors to see our movies without requiring them to already have our 3D glasses. We are a 3D company and are committed to providing top-notch 3D content in any number of formats."

The Harri-Kennedy duo was chosen to illustrate the optical illusion due to Kennedy's popularity as a redhead. In the traditional 3D format, "his red hair doesn't come out as clearly because of the color correction needed to make that format work," Ford said. "What better way to show the power of this format than to finally show Blu Kennedy in all his colorful glory?"

The site has set up an instructional web page with additional photos to allow viewers to experiment with the optical illusion.

In related news, DominicFord presented its 3D product to an industry crowd at the Phoenix Forum in April. The company recently teamed with sex toy and lubricants company pjur to launch a cross-promotion and marketing campaign, and is currently flacking a body worship/solo vignette featuring fan-favorite bodybuilder Matthew Rush.
